What to Include
To apply for an ALT position with ALTIA CENTRAL, please send the following documentation to the ALTIA CENTRAL Recruiting Department or attach them to the direct application.
- A Cover/Personal Introduction Letter
- An Updated Resume or C.V.
- A Recent Photo
- 1 or 2 Reference/Recommendation Letters
- And, for overseas applicants, please include a short essay on why you want to live and teach in Japan and what you feel the responsibilities of an ALT would be.
If all your documentation is in order and we are interested in considering you for an interview, our Recruiting Manager will contact you with a questionnaire about where you may like to work, what level of students you wish to teach, what your spoken Japanese is like, and few other basics to get a better idea of how feasible and beneficial an interview might be for both of us.
Before You Apply
1) Visa Requirements:
- have completed at least 12 years of their education having been conducted entirely in English Or have a passport and be from a country that Japanese Immigration considers as a Native English speaking country.
- have a bachelor's degree or higher
