Overseas Applications now accepted for April 2026 and Beyond

We are still accepting overseas applications; however, interviews conducted from February onward will generally be for positions starting after April 2026, or for arrivals in Japan after April

• Due to COE issuance and visa processing timelines, it is no longer realistic for newly interviewed overseas applicants to arrive in Japan by the end of March for the start of the new school year. Our current focus is on previously interviewed overseas candidates and new in-country applicants for positions starting from April 1st, 2026 positions.

We continue to seek engaging, enthusiastic, flexible, and culturally sensitive applicants who are motivated to make a positive difference in Japanese public schools. Whether you are looking to return to Japan or teach here for the first time with a reputable company such as ALTIA CENTRAL, we encourage you to apply.

Please note that any mid-year positions that open unexpectedly will require additional flexibility regarding preferences, timing, and placement. If you apply now, we can also keep your application on file for future openings, including the April 2027 school year.
