Hida City is the northernmost city in Gifu Prefecture. Nestled in the scenic countryside of the Japanese Alps, it is a beautiful location to live and work. The area is located near the Shirakawa-go World Heritage site and is easily recognizable by many anime lovers. With Takayama nearby and Nagoya only a couple hours away, amenities are not too hard to come by. Hida offers a convenient location for those that enjoy being outdoors, especially if you enjoy the snow. Known for its sake brewing and traditional Japanese candles, this will make a great place to call home.
- These positions are elementary school only positions. All positions will require the ability to drive.

Yuasa Town is located just south of Wakayama City in Wakayama Prefecture and about two hours from Osaka by train. This small port town has a rich history with its claims to being the birthplace of soy sauce and its oldest district preserving many buildings from the Edo period. This is a great place for anyone who enjoys ocean views, fishing, or just wants to immerse themselves in the local Japanese culture. It is a great community for our ALTs to live and work.
- These positions include elementary and junior high school, with some kindergarten required. All positions will require the ability to drive.
