Update on Contract Presentations and Website Information

We are excited to announce that presentations for securing new contracts and renewing existing ones are now under way! To keep everyone informed, we will be updating our website regularly to confirm the areas where we expect to have or maintain contracts for the upcoming year.

What This Means for You

• Confirmed Contracts: When a contract is confirmed on our website, it does not necessarily mean there will be a job opening there (it’s possible that no current ALTs leave, for example). It simply indicates that we have secured the contract with that particular area for the next school year.

• Flags on Prefectures: On the Available Locations page, flags will be displayed on the prefectures where we anticipate a significant number of openings to fill. These flags are your best indicator of areas with multiple potential opportunities.

Timeline for Contract Presentations

• November to March: Presentations for new contracts and the renewal of existing contracts begin in November and run right up to late March.
